Sustainably Harvested

Globally, 1.2 billion tonnes, or 15% of food produced, is wasted before it makes it off the farm. This places huge strain on the planets natural resources and causes environmental harm. The Hop Industry generates 1.5 times the hop cones processed in agricultural waste. There was an immediate priority identified to better understand the nature, magnitude and drivers of wasted potential through the generation of reliable scientific data and evidence. Preserve Botanica stepped up to the challenge and developed data sets and technical know how to process all parts of the hop plant as a circular and upcycled solution to mitigate extreme weather events each season.
